Privacy Policy

This page explains how the Itqan app and website (roqom.com) handle your data. We collect as little as possible, only to run the lessons and save your progress.

What we collect

• Account details: name, email, password (stored encrypted), and phone number if you choose to add it.
• Learning progress: completed lessons, stars, scores and certificates.
• What you write or say in speaking and writing practice: sent for AI correction.
• Subscription details: plan, start and end dates, and any discount code used.

How we use it

• To sign you in, save your progress and issue certificates.
• To correct your writing and conversation instantly.
• To send account emails only (email confirmation, password reset, renewal reminders).

We do not sell your data, show ads, or use advertising trackers.

Service providers

• Supabase: database and sign-in.
• Anthropic (Claude): writing correction and conversation partner. Only the exercise text is sent, not your name or email.
• Resend: account emails.
• PayPal: payments on the website. Card details are entered in PayPal's secure window; we never see them.
• Netlify: website hosting.

Security

All data travels over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and no learner can see another learner's data.

Deleting your account and data

You can delete your account yourself at any time, in the app or on the website: sign in → My account → scroll to the bottom → "Delete my account permanently" → type DELETE to confirm. Your account, progress and certificates are deleted immediately and permanently. We may keep payment records only (amount and date) for accounting, not linked to your account.

Children

The service is for adults, and for students under their parents' supervision. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13 without parental consent.
